First impressions matter, and City Racquet Shop’s existing visuals weren’t telling the full story. Bryan, the new owner, had a vision for the shop as more than just a retail space—it was a vibrant, inclusive community hub for tennis lovers. From beginner workshops to tennis watch parties and volunteer work with the GLTF, Bryan’s passion was at the heart of everything. But his brand’s imagery didn’t reflect that energy, warmth, or sense of community.

To bring City Racquet Shop’s story to life, we needed authentic, engaging imagery that captured the essence of Bryan’s mission. The goal was to showcase not just the products, but the people, the energy, and the inclusive spirit that made the shop special.

We took the shoot beyond the store, heading to the tennis courts during one of Bryan’s workshops. While he was initially camera-shy, I encouraged him to talk about the racquet he was holding—his face instantly lit up, his passion taking over. From there, I captured him in action: coaching beginners, chatting with customers, and making tennis feel accessible to all.

City Racquet Shop now has a vibrant, personality-driven visual identity that truly reflects its heart and soul. By incorporating the shop’s color palette throughout the shoot, we created a cohesive look that feels both natural and intentional. The new imagery is warm, inviting, and infused with Bryan’s passion, making the brand feel more approachable and aligned with its values.
